Artist, Pyrography Mentor,
and Chief Encourager

I'm a professional realistic artist and mentor, working across Pyrpgraphy, coloured pencils, and graphite.

I’ve been teaching since 2006 and discovered my love for pyrography in 2017 specialising in realistic art such as fur, feathers, portraits of people and animals, and I'm expanding what I teach into realistic art more broadly, including coloured pencil and graphite, all built on the same foundations of patience, layering and not being afraid to go dark.

I know how tricky it can be to get started or to feel like you’re "doing it right."

I’ve built the Phoenix Pyrography Academy to be the space I wish I had when I started: a kind environment with no pressure, where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions without fear, and create art you’re genuinely proud to show off.
